There is a languid serenity in her exhaustion, a fragile poise between indulgence and peace. I painted her in fading violets and warm ochres to capture the residue of a moment already dissolving. The smoke became my metaphor for thought itself, curling without direction yet impossibly graceful. Beneath her calm lies a quiet rebellion, a sensual fatigue that refuses to vanish.
