A central work within the series, confronting the body in its most unguarded state.
“Very well, give ’em cake” — on addiction
Not graceful.
Animal.
Urge without consent.
Doing faster than my name.
Still. Wide open.
Does anyone wonder
if I still exist.
Please.
Two figures caught in a moment that refuses refinement. Consumption becomes exposure, pleasure turns into compulsion, and the body slips beyond control.
Painted in a language that resists beauty, the work holds a tension between seduction and collapse. What appears indulgent reveals itself as something far more fragile — a confrontation with absence, identity and the quiet violence of repetition.
This is not a scene of excess, but of necessity. A body asking to be filled, while slowly disappearing.
